چکیده
This paper gives analogies of Hutton’s quasi-uniformities for complete lattices and extensions of Shi’s pointwise quasi-uniformities to closed set lattices.CLGOH denotes the category of all complete lattices with generalized order homomorphisms asmorphisms and CSL the category of all closed set lattices.HQUnif and SPQUnif denote the categories of Hutton quasi-uniform spaces on complete lattices and Shi pointwise quasi-uniform spaces on closed set lattices, respectively. We prove that both HQUnif and SPQUnif are fibre-complete topological categories over CLGOH and CSL with respect to the expected forgetful functors, respectively. Also, a mistake in W. Kotzé [Uniform spaces, in: U. Höhle, S.E. Rodabaugh (Eds.), Mathematics of Fuzzy Sets: Logic, Topology, and Measure Theory, The Handbooks of Fuzzy Sets Series, Vol. 3, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Boston, Dordrecht, London, 1999, pp. 553–580] is pointed out. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. A NOTE ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUTTON'S QUASI-UNIFORMITIES AND SHI'S QUASI-UNIFORMITIES
This note studies the relationship between Hutton's quasi-uniformities and Shi's quasi-uniformities. It is shown that when $L$ satisfies``multiple choice principle" for co-prime elements, the category of Hutton's quasi-uniform spaces is a bireflective full subcategory of the category of Shi's quasi-uniform spaces. Especially, if the remote-neighborhood mapping defined by Shi preserves arbitrary...
متن کاملL-fuzzy Quasi-uniform Spaces Induced by L-fuzzy Interior Spaces
In this paper, we introduce the notions of L-fuzzy quasi-uniformities and Lfuzzy interior operators in complete residuated lattices. We investigate the L-fuzzy quasiuniformities induced by L-fuzzy interior operators. We study the relationships between Lfuzzy interior operators and L-fuzzy quasi-uniformities. We give their examples. AMS Subject Classification: 03E72, 06A15, 06F07, 54F05
متن کامل(L,♦)-Fuzzy Quasi-Uniformities Induced Functions
In categories related to complete quasi-monoidal lattices, we investigate the relations among (L,♦)-(respectively, (L, )-,(L, )-) fuzzy quasi-uniform spaces, (L, ,∧)-fuzzy topological spaces and (L, ,∧)fuzzy interior spaces induced functions. Mathematics Subject Classification: 54A40, 08A72, 06D72
متن کاملAnother proof of Banaschewski's surjection theorem
We present a new proof of Banaschewski's theorem stating that the completion lift of a uniform surjection is a surjection. The new procedure allows to extend the fact (and, similarly, the related theorem on closed uniform sublocales of complete uniform frames) to quasi-uniformities ("not necessarily symmetric uniformities"). Further, we show how a (regular) Cauchy point on a closed uniform subl...
متن کاملUniformities in fuzzy metric spaces
The aim of this paper is to study induced (quasi-)uniformities in Kramosil and Michalek's fuzzy metric spaces. Firstly, $I$-uniformity in the sense of J. Guti'{e}rrez Garc'{i}a and $I$-neighborhood system in the sense of H"{o}hle and u{S}ostak are induced by the given fuzzy metric. It is shown that the fuzzy metric and the induced $I$-uniformity will generate the same $I$-neighborhood system. ...
